  • Persuade Luka Modric to stay

  • Sign a new goalkeeper to replace the ageing Brad Friedel

  • Getting off to a good start so people forget about his Chelsea nightmare
  • Buy a couple of top-drawer players to really strengthen their spine to challenge for the title
  • Getting the senior players onside – Parker, King, Gallas - unlike at Chelsea

  • Keep hold of Rafael van Der Vaart

  • Get on with Levy, or he knows all too well what will happen

  • Persuade Daniel Levy to break the club wage cap to sign Emmanuel Adebayor

  • Buy some strong youth prospects

  • Help facilitate a new stadium

I wish him well.

 

The good news is that he has been able to reflect on his time at CFC. He's a bright guy and he will have learned from some of his mistakes. Hopefully he won't make the same ones again.

 

He now has a much better understanding of what the Premiership entails and will also have a point to prove. You don't just become a rubbish manager overnight... he has good credentials and I hope he is given enough support to flourish. He certainly has potential and, whilst we all loved Harry for being 'Harry', maybe AVB will give us something extra against those top teams we feel we should be joining. Lord knows our record against them in the last few years hasn't been great.

 

In one way sad to lose Harry, but this high risk plan might just work.

i'm hoping he does well.i liked harry but he's gone now so time to move on.av was never going to do any thing at chelski scum with muppets like terry,cole,drogba and lampard trying to rule the roost and spit their dummies out when he dropped some of them.good luck to av and COYS!!!!!!

Lets not forget how this man was shafted at Chelsea, You don't just suddenly become a bad coach. I think he deserves a chance! I'm a spurs fan so my patience has worn a bit thin over the years but Levy clearly has good intentions and high hopes for the club he has displayed this in keeping Modric and not letting him go to Chelsea and keeping Bale this year. We need to get behind out team show them support and wish them well! COYS!!!!!

I notice 'arry saying the Spurs squad good enough to win the league. Well why didn't he do it with them? Putting pressure on AVB possibly?

     King and Gallas are past it and Parker was found out in the Euros. Not creative enough. AVB has got a big job if he is to keep Spurs in the top four. Needs a few more top quality players.

good luck a v b , you wont have to put up with certain chelsea players who also tried to run the world cup squad  with comments like ( we are going to have a meeting with the manager ) they where to big for there boots then and should have been put on a plane and sent home , never to play for england again . they no who they are .

clear your desk by december  and go back to portugal.....you couldnt run a bath mate....winning 3 titles in portugal is like winning my sunday league.i could do it on on a crate of stella a day its as boring as the scottish league...only porto and benfica ever win it....even the players you want to bring in are the same idea's as you had with us...not a good move if you notice boas.....the main reason you won the europa league was because you dropped out of the champions league 3 months prior due to being nowhere near good enough.and youll fail again....where we won the top european trophy whilst clearing up the mess you left.
