Sussex and Hampshire will meet in the Clydesdale Bank 40 semi-finals

Sussex will face Hampshire in the Clydesdale Bank 40 semi-finals after a thrilling final day of group action.

Hampshire emerged from the last four of the t20 competition on Saturday to take the top prize, and now their south-coast rivals stand in their way of another showpiece appearance.

Sussex booked their place by chasing down Kent's 210, with Luke Wright's unbeaten century helping the Sharks pip their hosts to the group leadership.

Kent still retained a hope of qualifying as a best loser but, once Warwickshire wrapped up a win over Yorkshire, the final spot and a tie at Lancashire was theirs.
