For a player like van persie.. in his prime and with one of the best shooting techniques in the game.. thats a stupidly low offer. As an arsenal fan itd be sad to see him go but if he wants to then twenty four million is a fair asking price. And whoever says arsenal are doomed without him, please dont be so narrow minded. We lost henry, our captain and top goalscorer, but carried on, we lost nasri and fabregas, and yet guess what, came third, our highest finish for a while now. Im not saying Arsenal will be good enough to win trophies, coz i dont think they are yet, but wenger knows how to keep us in the top four against all odds.
Far too good to be a bit part player when hes in the peak of his career, come on Real or Barce! you know you want him!
