Gareth Bale is expected to be back in action shortly
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has played down concerns over the fitness of star midfielder Gareth Bale.
Wales international Bale was an absentee from Tottenham's win over Watford in the FA Cup on Friday on account of a thigh problem.
Redknapp has revealed Bale picked up the injury in training earlier in the week, but is confident the winger will make a swift return to action.
"He picked it up in training two days before the match," Redknapp said. "He felt it a bit but it's not too bad."
Tottenham are still in the title hunt and face a big game with Liverpool on February 6, which follows a clash with struggling Wigan.
