Why all this crap about football team GB ....why dont they make it a contest for non top league players ....like no players from prem league or the top flight leagues in other countries ....all the uk prem clubs don't want their players injured in the olympic games and nor do the supporters ,,,but lower clubs would revel in it ... just a thought...OR WHAT ABOUT RETIRED PLAYERS MAKING UP THE TEAMS ......THERE YOU GO BECKS ....THATS AN IDEAL IDEA FOR YOU ! TAKE IT UP YOU CAN STILL PLAY IN THE NEXT OYLIMPIC'S ..... THERE JOB DONE !!!!!!!!!
It is shameful that Pearce has not selected him to play for Team GB. What a fitting way for us to pay our Nations thanks to a former England Captain, and who knows the effect his selection would have on the youngsters selected to play alongside him. We stand a better chance with him than without him. It would also sell many of the empty seats they are worried about!
Playing alongside Giggs feeding crosses in from both flanks to the youngsters, awesome thought.
