he's trying to do what he did @ Swansea, yet they are 100% this season with no goals conceded and we are bottom 3 having shipped 5 goals already ??!! maybe he should've fetched the Swansea back 4 with him instead of an unknown italian and a welsh midget !!!
Martinez built the Swansea side, and we turned him away for this idiot ???!!!
after last nite, i've given up on him already, i just hope the board can see what a mistake he was.

Liverpool did actually sign another striker, Samed Yesil, but he is far from ready to take the prem by storm. Looks like we had a few possibilities lined up, but they didn't come off. Looks like we have some other clubs taking the **** with us, fee wise and it feels like we do not have a strong transfer policy.
Would have been better to keep what we have and work with the squad until Jan, rather than sell. Especially the Carroll situation and no replacement lined up. The only positive is that we didn't spend another £35mil unnecessarily.
