Newly-wed Mansfield Town boss Paul Cox is set for the ultimate win bonus after sponsor Blue Square Bet offered to pay for his honeymoon if his team beat Liverpool in Sunday’s FA Cup clash.

The bookmaker sponsors the Conference Premier, the league in which Mansfield play, and have pledged to cover the cost of a VIP honeymoon for the manager and new bride Natasha Bertin should The Stags pull off the giant-killing at the One Call Stadium.

The couple wed in Nottingham today after agreeing to tie the knot when Mansfield beat Lincoln City in the previous round.

Blue Square Bet PR Manager Alan Alger said: “It’s a great wedding tradition to have something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue – well, this is the something blue. We hope the team wins on Sunday and the newly-weds get to enjoy a great honeymoon on us.”

Mansfield Town shouldn't win or if they do, the Liverpool players should decline their wages. West-Ham were unlucky not to win their game, poor closing down in midfield, let Man Utd dictate the game in dangerous areas. Did not mark Van Persie well enough in the closing stages.
