Tottenham accept Dynamo Kiev bid for Kranjcar

Niko Kranjcar scores Tottenham's second goal, Sunderland v Tottenham, Barclays Premier League, Stadium of Light, February 12, 2011

Niko Kranjcar made just nine starts for Spurs last season

Dynamo Kiev have agreed a fee with Tottenham Hotspur for the transfer of midfielder Niko Kranjcar.

Kranjcar, 27, made just nine league starts for Spurs last season as he struggled to push ahead of Gareth Bale in the pecking order at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is a long-time admirer of the Croatia international, having taken him from Portsmouth in 2009, and has insisted he is in no hurry to sell him.

However, Kranjcar is now destined to make a move in pursuit of first-team football. "The clubs have agreed," Kranjcar told Croatian website Jutarnji List. "Now all that remains are some small details as I agree personal terms.

"I personally am not involved with that. I have left that to the people that represent me as I am concentrating on the Euros."
