Injured Farrelly out of Festival
Johnny Farrelly
Johnny Farrelly will miss next week's Cheltenham Festival after sustaining a back injury in a fall at Wincanton on Thursday.
The rider parted company with Sleeping Volcano at the fourth-last obstacle in the Bathwick Tyres Bridgewater Novices' Chase.
He was taken to Yeovil General Hospital where it was confirmed he had damaged a vertebrae, and he will miss, among others, the ride on Fortification in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase.
