Nicholls set for Royal runner

American Trilogy
Champion jumps trainer Paul Nicholls is set to have his first Royal Ascot runner next week.
American Trilogy, a 141-rated hurdler who won a Listed race on the Flat when trained in France, is due to contest the Queen Alexandra Stakes.
Dan Skelton, assistant to the Ditcheat handler, told the Guardian: "I think the plan is for him to run in the Queen Alexandra on the Saturday. With Black Caviar running (in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes), it should be a good day. I'm not sure I'd be backing her at 1-3, though."
