Graham Henry will pass on his vast knowledge to the Olympic team
Former All Blacks coach Graham Henry has taken on a new role with the New Zealand Olympic team.
The World Cup-winning coach will pass on his knowledge of coaching and man management to individual coaches in both the Olympic and Paralympic side of the New Zealand team.
Henry has signed a two-year deal with High Performance Sport New Zealand and will start his work with the New Zealand Olympic sailing team. And he will combine this role with his mentorship post within New Zealand rugby.
"Sir Graham has 40 years' experience in coaching and he knows what it takes to lead players and support staff to be the best in the world," HPSNZ CEO Alex Baumann said. "He will work with a range of coaches, of both teams and individuals, to help them become effective leaders of their programmes and people, increasing their chance of achieving sustained success."
